Poker Room Hours and Cash Games
Our poker room sits inside Pure Casino Lethbridge at 3756 2 Ave S in Lethbridge, Alberta. From Monday to Friday we open the room at 2:00 PM and keep games running until 3:00 AM. On Saturdays and Sundays doors open earlier at 12:00 PM, with the same 3:00 AM closing time. That stretch covers quick after-work sessions, late-night grinds, and pretty much anything in between.
Cash game action is focused on No-Limit Hold’em. Most of the time you will see 1/2 and 1/3 tables. The minimum buy-in is $50 CAD and the maximum is $500 CAD, which lines up with what you usually see in Alberta rooms of this size. All games operate under AGLC rules and oversight, so rake and procedures follow the standard provincial framework, nothing out of left field.
Important point if you landed here by searching “Pure Casino Lethbridge poker online”: we do not offer a real-money online poker platform under the Pure Casino Lethbridge name. Our official website at purecasinolethbridge.com is focused on live play - cash game information, tournament calendar, and the in-house leaderboard. Any real-money action is on-site only, not on an app or desktop client.

Our poker area is a defined room on the casino floor rather than just a table or two tossed by the pit. If you are making the trip mainly for poker, that matters - the space, layout, and staff are set up around running proper cash and tournament games, not as a side show to something else.
Tournament Schedule
We spread regular tournaments several days a week. Sunday events normally get going at 3:00 PM, while Monday and Wednesday tournaments start in the evening at 6:30 PM. On the poker calendar at purecasinolethbridge.com you will also notice listings for Pure Casino Edmonton and Pure Casino Yellowhead, since the PURE group uses a shared system for posting events across our Alberta properties.
Alongside the calendar there is a tournament leaderboard, updated on a frequent basis. It tracks results and points for players who are active in the events. Checking that page before you come down can give a quick sense of who has been running deep lately and how tough the fields can feel.
We do move schedules around a bit near holidays, special promos or bigger room events, so some dates are flexible. If you need a firm answer on whether a specific tournament is running on a particular night, a quick phone call to the poker room at (403) 381-9467 is still the most solid option. The online calendar is handy, but live confirmation over the phone tends to be faster when timing really matters.
A small practical note that works here just as well as in other rooms: for a first-time tournament, give yourself a buffer instead of cutting it close. Arriving at least 30 minutes ahead of start time makes life easier for registration, ID checks, and buying chips. Those steps routinely take longer than people expect, and not every event has a generous late registration window.
Planning a Cash Game Visit
The total gaming floor is about 44,000 square feet, and poker uses its own section within that footprint. Entry is restricted to guests 18 years of age and older, in line with Alberta regulations, and you will need valid government-issued ID to come onto the floor. All buy-ins and payouts run in Canadian dollars at the cage.
If it is your first time sitting in a cash game with us, the flow looks roughly like this:
- Check the poker calendar at purecasinolethbridge.com to make sure games are listed for the day you want to come.
- Head over to 3756 2 Ave S, Lethbridge, AB T1J 4Y9 and show your ID when you come through the entrance.
- Go to the main casino cage and swap your cash for poker chips, with at least $50 CAD if you plan to take a seat.
- Walk to the poker room and ask staff to either put you on the waiting list or seat you if a chair is already open.
- Before you settle in, ask the dealer to run through the current rake structure so you know what is coming out of each pot.
- When your session wraps up, bring your chips back to the cage and cash out.
